As Engineering Operations Manager at Materialise Software, you will support our engineering and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions for the additive manufacturing industry. You will be the connection between engineering and other teams, ensuring that our processes run smoothly and our technical product owners are supported in achieving our goals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on cross-functional collaboration, loves optimizing organizational systems, and enjoys turning complexity into clarity. 

What you will do

  • Own the planning and predictable execution of our roadmap, and support the product managers in prioritizing the roadmap initiatives
  • Own and optimize product development workflows, tools, and documentation practices as part of the engineering management team to ensure consistency and efficiency. 
  • Coordinate alignment between engineering and product, professional services, and sales teams  
  • Manage and support the technical product owners in their day-to-day work
  • Coordinate roadmap planning cycles by consolidating insights, tracking progress, and enabling transparent communication
  • Work with the engineering and product teams to establish KPIs and dashboards to inform decision-making and performance tracking
  • Facilitate product releases and ensure go-to-market readiness through coordination with stakeholders
  • Identify process bottlenecks and proactively implement improvements to increase speed and collaboration
  • Support product managers in budget accountability, facilitating planning, and follow-up
  • Apply a servant leadership style, such as ensuring growth and well-being when coaching the technical product owners

Your profile

  •  Extensive experience in product operations, product management, engineering/development management, or a related role in a tech-driven environment
  •  Experienced with improving processes, tools, and operational efficiency in product organizations
  •  Experience with additive manufacturing, or E2E manufacturing systems, is a plus 
  •  Strong hands-on experience in Azure DevOps and SharePoint (or similar) 
  •  Solid understanding of software development processes (Agile, Scrum, etc.) and familiarity with regulatory frameworks (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, etc.)
  •  Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  •  Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to translate technical topics for non-technical audiences
  • Proactive and pragmatic mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and an eye for continuous improvement
