Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Department: Accounting & Finance

Work Location: NorthLittle Rock, AR (on site)

Reports To: VP, FP&A

FLSA Status: Exempt

Central Moloney, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Senior Financial Analyst to support the Central Moloney and Cam Tran business units within the North American FP&A organization.

This role is responsible for financial planning, forecasting, operational analysis, and performance reporting that support key strategic and operational decisions. The Senior Financial Analyst will partner closely with leaders across Accounting, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Sales to provide financial insights that improve profitability, operational efficiency, and business performance.

This position offers strong exposure to Private Equity ownership and strategic decision-making, along with the opportunity to help build and refine a best-in-class FP&A function within a growing manufacturing organization.

 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

·       Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting cycles for the Central Moloney and Cam Tran business units.

·       Develop, maintain, and improve financial models and forecasts to support operational and strategic initiatives.

·       Integrate cost drivers, production metrics, and operational inputs into financial forecasts for revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and cash flow.

·       Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and growth opportunities that will inform demand planning.

·       Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to evaluate business risks and opportunities.

Reporting & Analysis

·       Support monthly financial reporting and performance reviews, including detailed variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior year.

·       Translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights and recommendations for business leaders and executives.

·       Design and maintain dynamic financial models and scalable reporting frameworks that enable consistent, repeatable performance analysis across business units.

·       Take ownership of data sourcing, validation, and pressure-testing to ensure reporting accuracy and reliability across financial and operational datasets.

·       Develop and implement Power BI dashboards and other business intelligence tools where appropriate to improve visibility into key financial, operational, and commercial KPIs.

·       Build and automate reporting processes and analytical tools that improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and enhance decision-making speed.

·       Provide ad hoc analysis, modeling, and decision support for leadership, including scenario analysis, pricing analyses, and business case development.

Cost Analysis & Control

·       Collaborate with North American Cost Accounting and Operations teams to identify and interpret production, labor, and material cost variances.

·       Develop models and reporting to track cost improvement initiatives across North America while maintaining operational and quality standards.

·       Monitor key operational drivers impacting manufacturing efficiency and gross margin performance.

Capital Planning

·       Support capital expenditure (CapEx) planning, investment analysis, and tracking for supported business units.

·       Develop financial analyses and ROI models to support capital investment decisions.

·       Monitor and report on the financial performance of approved capital and strategic projects.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

·       Support ERP initiatives, system enhancements, and standard cost implementations across business units; previous experience with OneStream/Anaplan/Infor Syteline is a plus.

·       Collaborate cross-functionally with Cost Accounting, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales to improve financial visibility and data accuracy.

·       Contribute to special projects, strategic initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.

Education & Experience

·       Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

·       3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally within FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis roles.

·       Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills

·       Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and Power Query.

·       Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools strongly preferred.

·       Strong understanding of financial statements, cost accounting concepts, and variance analysis.

Professional Skills

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·       Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

·       Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under deadlines.

·       Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a dynamic business environment.

·       Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships across finance and operations teams.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Little Rock, Arkansas. The role involves collaboration with team members across North America, supporting both Central Moloney and Cam Tran entities.
