Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Senior BI Analyst with 4–6 years of experience to join our Finance BI team. This role combines data engineering and data analytics responsibilities, focusing on building scalable data pipelines, optimizing data models, and delivering impactful insights through enterprise-grade BI solutions. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and passionate about transforming complex data into actionable business intelligence.
Data Engineering & BI Development Design, develop, and optimize end to end BI solutions using SQL, ETL tools (Alteryx, Datastage, SSIS, Informatica, etc.) and cloud platforms such as MS Fabric and Azure Data Factory (ADF) Build, maintain, and enhance scalable ETL workflows and data pipelines to support efficient data ingestion, transformation, and integration. Develop and tune complex SQL queries to ensure high performance, scalability, and data accuracy. Ensure strong data quality, integrity, and reliability across all BI and analytics solutions.
Data Analysis & Reporting Partner closely with Finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical and analytical solutions Design and deliver advanced, interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support data driven decision making Perform analytical evaluations to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within financial and operational data Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report performance, data discrepancies, and pipeline failures
Governance, Documentation & Collaboration Apply best practices in data modeling, data warehousing, and BI reporting standards. Document BI solutions, data flows, transformations, and technical designs for long term maintainability and knowledge sharing. Collaborate with cross functional teams to support analytics initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications and Experiences: Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. 4–6 years of hands on experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Analytics roles. Strong expertise in SQL, including complex query development and performance tuning. Hands on experience with ETL tools such as Alteryx, SSIS, Informatica, Datastage, or equivalent and cloud technologies such as MS Fabric, ADF. Proven experience in Power BI dashboard and report development. Solid understanding of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and relational databases. Experience working with large datasets and optimizing data processing and reporting performance. Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills Hands on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines or Microsoft Fabric. Exposure to SAP data and finance related functionalities is a plus. Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for data processing and automation is a plus. Familiarity with data governance, data quality frameworks, and metadata management. Experience with Tableau is a plus.
