Job Title: Project Manager – Agriculture

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Agriculture to lead and manage agricultural projects from planning through execution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale farming operations, crop production, greenhouse management, irrigation systems, and agricultural infrastructure.
The successful candidate will oversee project planning, resource management, budgets, and timelines while ensuring operational efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor agricultural projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Manage large-scale farming operations, including crop production, greenhouse projects, irrigation systems, and agricultural infrastructure.
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Coordinate with farm managers, agronomists, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations, environmental standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Manage procurement of agricultural equipment, materials, and services.
- Oversee installation and commissioning of irrigation systems, greenhouses, and other agricultural facilities.
- Analyze project performance, prepare progress reports, and present updates to senior management.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and sustainability across agricultural operations.
- Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
- 7–12 years of experience managing agricultural or farming projects.
- Proven experience in large-scale farming, crop production, greenhouse operations, irrigation projects, or agricultural development.
- Strong understanding of modern farming practices, irrigation systems, soil management, and agricultural technologies.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
- Experience working in the GCC, particularly Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable.
