Business Support Analyst

Remote

 

Role Summary

Provides business operations, reporting, data analysis, and performance management support for HRSA/NHDP administrative, financial, acquisition, purchase card, and information management operations. Leads development of management reporting products, performance measures, data collection and validation activities, and decision-support materials. Supports continuous improvement, performance monitoring, stakeholder reporting, and operational analysis activities, while providing analytical and documentation support for process improvement and technology enablement initiatives.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, management, data analytics, information systems, finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations support, program support, performance management, reporting, or analytical support.
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, validating, and reporting operational or performance data.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, performance metrics, briefing materials, and management reports.
  • Experience maintaining trackers, action item logs, risk logs, databases, or reporting repositories.
  • Experience documenting business processes, requirements, findings, and operational procedures.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
  • Strong analytical, written, verbal, organizational, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and support concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Federal agencies or Federal business operations programs.
  • Experience developing key performance indicators (KPIs), performance measures, scorecards, or performance management frameworks.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Platform, SharePoint, or other reporting and data visualization tools.
  • Experience conducting data quality reviews, trend analysis, and performance assessments.
  • Experience supporting process improvement, strategic planning, governance, or continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience supporting business process analysis, workflow assessments, or technology implementation projects.
  • Experience preparing executive briefings, leadership reports, and decision-support materials.
  • Certification in business analysis, data analytics, project management, or process improvement (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Lean Six Sigma, CAPM, or equivalent).
