Full description

Ciklum is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team full-time in the Czech Republic.

We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who goes further than the surface. Someone who asks the right questions, digs into the real problem, and then designs a solution that is both beautiful and genuinely useful - and can back every decision with solid reasoning. You will be joining a live project with over a million active users, working as part of a tight-knit, Ciklum-led team of 7-8 people. This is not a role where you execute someone else's vision. You will be expected to shape it.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of your design tracks - from discovery and research through to final handoff
  • Facilitate workshops, conduct user research, and translate findings into clear design decisions
  • Produce the full range of design artifacts - user flows, personas, journey maps, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, interaction specs, and handoff documentation
  • Work within and contribute improvements to an existing design system across mobile and web
  • Collaborate daily with developers, product managers, and researchers to keep the product consistent and technically realistic
  • Present and advocate for your design decisions to clients and stakeholders with clarity and confidence
  • Mentor junior designers and share knowledge across the team
  • Contribute to pre-sales where needed - scope, timelines, and design strategy
  • Stay sharp - follow trends in design and UX, bring new thinking to the team, and keep improving the way the team works

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of hands-on UI/UX experience with a portfolio that shows real range across product types and platforms
  • Deep Figma proficiency - design, prototyping, and component library work
  • Strong UX foundation - user research, product discovery, information architecture, usability testing, and interaction design
  • Experience working with existing design systems and improving them over time
  • Comfortable running workshops and presenting to clients - fluent English is a must
  • A natural collaborator who takes feedback well and gives it even better
  • WCAG accessibility knowledge is a strong plus
  • Portfolio required as part of the application

Desirable:

  • Experience in consumer apps, parenting, health, or lifestyle products
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows
  • Knowledge of front-end basics (HTML, CSS) to bridge the gap with developers
  • Experience with research tools like UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, or Hotjar

What’s in it for you?

  • Flexible working hours
  • Home office option
  • 5 weeks of holiday
  • 5 sick days
  • Multisport Card
  • Meal allowance
  • Internal trainings including workshops and seminars
  • Paid certifications and technical as well as soft-skills training
  • Possibility to participate in international conferences
  • Fresh fruit, coffee, and a weekly company breakfast in the office
  • Loyalty bonus after 5, 10, 15 and more years with the company
  • Referral bonus programme
  • Corporate events including team building, outdoor activities, Christmas party, health week, summer ice cream, and more
  • Hybrid and remote working options available across our Czech offices in Prague, Hradec Králové, and Zlín
