KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, manage and take full ownership of projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring project objectives are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with business requirements, strategic goals, and stakeholder expectations.
- Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, success criteria, and governance frameworks, ensuring clear expectations and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, risk assessments, and key milestones to support successful project delivery.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability while ensuring effective communication and alignment among all internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain effective stakeholder engagement plans, ensuring key stakeholders remain informed, aligned, and supportive throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project performance against agreed plans, budgets, and timelines, providing regular progress updates and implementing corrective actions to address delays, issues, or changing business requirements.
- Identify and drive opportunities for operational improvement, process optimization, cost savings, and enhanced project outcomes, supporting the organization's continuous improvement objectives.
- Manage project budgets and financial performance, ensuring effective cost control, forecasting, expenditure tracking, and timely escalation of any budget variances or financial risks.
- Coordinate procurement activities and oversee the selection, engagement, and performance of contractors, consultants, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality, value, and timely delivery of project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health, safety, quality, environmental requirements, and applicable regulatory obligations throughout all phases of project planning and execution.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, implementing appropriate mitigation measures and escalating significant risks where required.
- Support the assessment, planning, and prioritization of new projects by evaluating business needs, operational requirements, financial considerations, resource availability, and potential risks to support informed decision-making.
- Oversee project handover, close-out, and post-implementation review activities, ensuring deliverables are successfully transitioned to operational teams and project objectives have been achieved.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, records, and reporting, ensuring lessons learned, best practices, and improvement opportunities are captured and shared across the organization.
