Your opportunity
We are seeking a proactive Product Manager/Supply Chain Support to join our Foodservice Stargate team. Stargate is Huhtamaki's logistics and distribution hub located in Europe serving our European Market Units with traded products to complement our product ranges. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain Operations Stargate Distribution Hub, you will drive innovation and growth by leading new product development and managing our packaging portfolio. You will also play a key role in turning ideas into successful products and supporting our supply chain operations.
Where you’ll be
Our Distribution hub (Stargate) is located in Tallinn, Estonia and is the strong preference for this role, but other locations may be considered.
What you’ll be doing
- Drive new product development and manage the existing product portfolio in designated traded product categories.
- Support Distribution hub (Stargate) supply chain activities, including order and stock management, and other day-to-day operations (approximately 30–40% of your time).
- Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for new packaging solutions, aligning with market trends and business objectives.
- Manage and track ongoing new product development (NPD) projects, ensuring consistent follow-up and achievement of yearly goals.
- Lead the end-to-end NPD process from ideation and concept development through to commercialization.
- Collaborate with production, operations, quality, and sales teams to ensure smooth and timely product launches.
- Conduct regular cost analysis and margin comparisons across the product portfolio, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and price optimization.
- Oversee the creation and management of product information, ensuring all technical specifications and data are accurate and up-to-date across internal systems.
- Lead the marketing and promotion of newly launched products, including organizing and leading meetings with key stakeholders.
- Manage Master Data Management (MDM) related to the product portfolio, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity of product data across various systems (e.g., ERP, PIM).
What you’ll bring to the role
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in product management, preferably in the packaging industry.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, balancing the needs of various stakeholders.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multinational team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
- English is essential for daily work; additional languages are a significant plus.
