This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Information Security Cybersecurity Principal based in United States.

This senior cybersecurity role serves as a key leader in protecting enterprise technology, information systems, and digital environments. You will help establish and implement a comprehensive information security program spanning internal IT, cloud, web, and e-commerce systems. The position combines strategic security leadership with hands-on work across policies, standards, processes, and technical controls. You will assess emerging threats, evaluate business risk, and develop effective strategies to detect and respond to security incidents. Your work will strengthen cyber resilience and help safeguard sensitive information from increasingly sophisticated attacks. You will also contribute to regulatory and privacy compliance while promoting security best practices across the organization. Accountabilities

  • Lead and support implementation of a comprehensive information security program, including security policies, processes, standards, and technical controls.
  • Oversee the security of technology and information systems across internal IT environments, e-commerce platforms, web applications, and cloud-based systems.
  • Develop and strengthen cyber resilience strategies designed to help the organization prepare for, withstand, and recover from cybersecurity threats.
  • Protect systems and information against unauthorized access and attacks by identifying vulnerabilities and designing appropriate security countermeasures.
  • Research emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and industry trends and translate findings into practical security recommendations and best practices.
  • Evaluate security threats and their potential business impact, helping develop strategies for risk reduction and effective security monitoring.
  • Establish and enhance capabilities for detecting, monitoring, and generating alerts for security incidents.
  • Help ensure information security practices comply with applicable security regulations, privacy requirements, and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate across technical and business teams to strengthen security awareness, risk management, and enterprise-wide protection.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology, information security, cybersecurity, or a closely related field.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise information security principles, cybersecurity risk management, security controls, and cyber resilience.
  • Experience protecting complex technology environments, including internal IT systems, web applications, cloud platforms, and other enterprise systems.
  • Ability to assess cybersecurity threats, determine potential business impact, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of security policies, standards, processes, privacy requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to research emerging technologies and security trends and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to evaluate complex security risks.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Healthcare industry experience is preferred, particularly experience working with security requirements in a complex healthcare environment.
