Royale Care VA Home Health is a premiere home health agency located in Northern Virginia. Royale Care VA Home Health is looking for an experienced  Home Health Therapy Quality Assurance Consultant/s to collaborate with our clinical team to review and strengthen the clinical quality, documentation integrity, and regulatory compliance of our therapy services (PT/OT/ST). This is a part-time, contract role that can be performed remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct QA review of therapy documentation (evaluations, plans of care, progress notes, visit notes, discharge summaries) for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Medicare and CHAP standards.
  • Verify that therapy goals, frequency/duration, and medical necessity are clearly supported and consistent across the record.
  • Audit OASIS-linked therapy items and reassessment timing for correctness.
  • Flag documentation gaps, coding/billing risks, and non-compliant patterns, and provide corrective feedback to clinicians.
  • Support survey readiness and contribute to ongoing performance-improvement (QAPI) efforts.
  • Deliver periodic QA summary reports with trends and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed therapy professional (PT, OT, or SLP) with at least 2 full years of home health experience or at least 2 years of clinical QA background in home health.
  • Working knowledge of Medicare home health regulations, PDGM, and OASIS.
  • Experience with home health EMR platforms (WellSky/Kinnser preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and independent, remote work discipline.

Engagement: Thie is a contract / 1099, remote, hours flexible based on caseload volume.
