Summary:

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration, support, governance, and continuous improvement of the Redwood Balance Sheet Certification and Concur platforms. This role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure systems effectively support business processes, compliance requirements, and organizational objectives. The Business Systems Analyst will analyze business needs, manage system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements while maintaining data integrity and operational excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer and support the Redwood Balance Sheet Certification and Concur applications, ensuring optimal system performance and alignment with business requirements.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on system capabilities, standards, and best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend system configurations, process improvements, and licensing changes to support evolving business needs.
  • Manage system change control processes, including documentation, impact assessments, testing, and implementation of enhancements.
  • Maintain and support test environments, including test data management and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Data Governance policies, internal controls, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Analyze system errors, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution efforts with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute custom reports, dashboards, and data analyses to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system, process, and data-related issues.
  • Support user access management, including onboarding, role maintenance, and deactivation processes.
  • Provide end-user support, training, and documentation to promote effective system adoption and utilization.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
  • Participate in system upgrades, releases, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Provide backup support for managing the Delegation of Authority
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level:

The Associate Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field and 0-2 years of relevant experience.

The Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field and 2-5 years of relevant experience.

The Senior Analyst level requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related business field and 5-8 years of relevant experience.

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%25 of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Up to 5%25 overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
