Team Summary:
The Strategy, Business Planning and Operations function within Asia Pacific (AP) Marketing supports planning, operations, performance management and strategic initiatives across the region. The team partners closely with market, regional and global stakeholders to drive alignment against key business priorities. At the heart of this agenda is an active AI transformation of Marketing, reshaping how AP Marketing operates, plans and communicates through intelligent tools and new ways of working.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategy, Business Planning and Operations, this role supports the Head of Strategy, Insights and Analytics across planning, communications, reporting, operations, and strategic initiatives.
Based in Singapore, the role spans six focus areas: Financial Planning, Reporting and Operations, Office of the CMO, People & Culture, AI and Strategic Projects, providing broad exposure to how Marketing is a growth driver for Visa in AP.
Essential Functions:
Planning, Reporting & Operations:
- Drive end-to-end function OKR performance reporting.
- Manage the cadence and support the development of executive briefs and reviews, translating complex information into clear, leadership-ready narratives for the regional and global leadership team.
- Support the financial planning cycle and alignment across stakeholders.
Office of the CMO:
- Develop internal communications for the AP Marketing function by working closely with regional and market teams.
- Strong grasp of narrative building to work with the Communications team for Executive Positioning of the CMO (industry, media, speaking engagements, events, digital).
- Build market visit agendas working closely with market teams.
People & Culture:
- Support planning of an annual marketing Learning & Development initiative.
- Support internal team engagement initiatives (e.g. volunteering, townhalls, onboarding)
AI and Strategic Projects:
- Drive the development of agentic workflows, tracking implementation of AI tools and capabilities across the function, to improve KPIs
- Support the development of proposals for new initiatives working closely with the Strategy, Insights and Analytics team.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
We are looking for a driven, articulate professional with genuine curiosity for the intersection of marketing, strategy and operations. The ideal candidate brings a high standard of written communication, enjoys the discipline of project management and a passion for marketing:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in consulting, marketing strategy, planning, communications, AI and automation
- Tertiary education in strategy, business management, marketing, economics, finance, journalism, humanities
- Experience with Microsoft and Copilot, Claude and AI tools
- Comfortable with the demands of global and regional time zone differences
- Able to thrive in a multi-matrixed fast environment - demonstrating ownership, reliability, and strong organizational skills
- Driven to achieve completeness and timely delivery, with strong attention to detail.
