This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Solutions Engineer based in United States.
This role owns the technical dimension of the sales process across North America, helping hospitality businesses understand how a modern technology platform can fit into their existing environment. You will act as a trusted technical partner to commercial teams and customers throughout complex SMB and Mid-Market sales cycles. Your expertise will help hotel operators evaluate integrations, payment capabilities, APIs, PMS workflows, and broader technology architecture. You’ll translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical recommendations for audiences ranging from IT specialists to hotel general managers. The role combines consultative selling, technical discovery, solution design, and customer engagement in a fast-growing SaaS environment. You’ll collaborate closely with sales and other solutions professionals while also helping strengthen the technical capabilities of commercial teams. Success requires strong hospitality knowledge, commercial awareness, communication skills, and a proactive approach to using AI to improve how work gets done.

Accountabilities
- Act as the lead technical partner for SMB and Mid-Market sales opportunities, supporting commercial teams throughout the sales cycle.
- Explain integrations, payment capabilities, APIs, and technical functionality clearly to hotel operators and technical stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Participate in regular opportunity and pipeline alignment meetings to stay closely connected to active sales initiatives and provide timely technical guidance.
- Conduct consultative technical discovery and help sales teams position solutions that align with customer requirements and business objectives.
- Help customers evaluate how the platform fits within their existing hospitality technology ecosystem, including PMS workflows, integrations, payment infrastructure, and property-level systems.
- Translate complex technical architectures and integration considerations into accessible recommendations that support confident purchasing decisions.
- Serve as a technical resource across the customer lifecycle, helping bridge pre-sales positioning with post-sales implementation and customer needs.
- Partner closely with sales and other solutions professionals across North America to ensure consistent technical guidance and effective deal execution.
- Train and develop sales teammates by sharing technical knowledge, best practices, and practical approaches to technical discovery and solution positioning.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, technical enablement, and customer outcomes through stronger solution architecture and effective use of AI.
Requirements
- Ideally 5+ years of experience in solutions architecture, sales engineering, technical account management, or a comparable customer-facing technical role within SaaS or technology organizations.
- Strong hospitality or hotel-technology experience, with a practical understanding of hotel operations, PMS workflows, integrations, and the technology decisions that affect day-to-day property operations.
- Demonstrated ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences, from IT and technical stakeholders to hotel general managers and business leaders.
- Strong commercial awareness and comfort operating within a sales environment, with an understanding of deal dynamics, customer priorities, and business outcomes.
- Experience supporting commercial teams through technical discovery, solution positioning, demonstrations, or complex customer evaluations.
- Strong communication, presentation, consultative selling, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate customer requirements and technical constraints into practical solutions and clearly communicate tradeoffs.
- Comfortable working with autonomy in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment where priorities and processes may change.
- Demonstrated AI fluency beyond basic personal productivity, including redesigning workflows, developing repeatable AI-enabled approaches, and critically evaluating AI-generated outputs.
- Strong curiosity, adaptability, resilience, and willingness to learn in a high-autonomy environment.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships across globally distributed teams.
- AI Fluency Level 3 capability is required.
