In this role, you will work closely with the Cluster Strategic Programs & New Product Planning Lead and cross-functional teams to turn strategic priorities into clear insights, disciplined workplans, and meaningful business impact.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Strategic Programs Analyst will provide the analytical backbone that shapes the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan Cluster strategy and supports disciplined execution of priority workstreams. Working closely with the Cluster Strategic Programs & New Product Planning Lead, this role will deliver rigorous analyses, strong project coordination, and high-quality materials that inform senior stakeholder decisions and advance the Cluster’s strategic priorities.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct primary and secondary research to collect insights, such as interviewing internal stakeholders or conducting desktop research on new product's competitive movements and pricing
- Derive and analyze data from open-source databases and internal data sources to support market landscape, competitive landscape, and internal analysis
- Build and maintain market models, scenario analyses, and forecasting inputs that underpin strategic decisions
- Synthesize data into clear takeaways and a recommended path
- Flag when data is missing, contradictory, or unreliable, and propose how to fill the gap
Project Management
- Develop and own workplans for the Cluster's strategic programs and new asset workstreams; transparently track key actions, owners, and target delivery timelines
- Proactively drive progress and closely follow-through on the end-to-end execution of key workstreams across cross-functional teams
- Prepare materials and follow-up actions for strategic forums, such as program steerco
- Coordinate timely inputs and progress reviews from cross-functional stakeholders
- Maintain visibility on program status and surface risks, gaps, and interdependencies early
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree or above in Pharmacy, Life Science, Business Administration, or related fields; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
- 1–3 years of relevant experience — pharma, consulting, financial analysis, or another analytical role
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills; able to derive insights and present them clearly
- Structured problem solving and a proven track record of identifying a problem, analyzing the situation, and recommending an actionable outcome
- A learning mindset - actively curious and willing to learn new topics
- Strong team player with an adaptable personality; comfortable collaborating across cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in English; Mandarin strongly preferred, Cantonese a plus
