Associate Product Manager – Extremities & Trauma

This role would suit those who might be clinical specialists or junior sales/marketing people looking to move into a marketing position, alternatively you could be a clinically strong and grounded allied healthcare professional such as a Theatre nurse ideally with some form of marketing or business education background or exposure. You must have exposure to a Theatre environment.

About the Role

This position is responsible for all aspects of the product marketing strategy and tactical support across New Zealand. You will lead the strategy and driving the interactions with KOL HCP surgeons and support the sales force nationwide - expect to travel about 1 week out of every 4 for this role. You will be supported by our innovative ArthroLab at our Office in Auckland for educating and demonstrating the Extremities & Trauma range to HCP's.

This position reports to our ‘NZ Manager Product Marketing” and will involve travel across NZ and will be based from our Auckland (Parnell) office.

  • Develop and implement Extremities & Trauma Product strategies to achieve marketing goals and budgets.
  • Manage and execute product launches and product pipeline prioritisation
  • Develop and execute digital strategies and communication campaigns
  • Build and maintain key customer relationships to develop KOLs
  • Work closely with the Med Ed and Sales teams to develop and execute professional educational programs, events & conferences for surgeons
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Regulatory and Commercial teams to create and distribute marketing, communication and promotional assets
  • Provide technical expertise, develop training resources and direction to the sales force aligned to the product strategy
  • Collaborate with the Commercial team with relevant tenders and contracts

About You:

  • Experience in an Operating Theatre Environment
  • Successful sales track record within a Extremities & Trauma product category from sales or marketing
  • Strong team orientation, and a long term, relationship-based sales approach
  • Ability to think strategically and constructively challenge customers
  • Relevant Tertiary Degree from a Health Science or Marketing/Sales background
