In the Business Development & Innovation department at Danske Spil, you’ll take the lead on developing new business opportunities – and on shaping our product to fit them.
You’ll need strong commercial judgement, solid product thinking and the ability to navigate complexity, build relationships with external partners and move initiatives from early exploration to launch.

What you’ll be doing Your primary focus will be new business opportunities: assessing them, understanding market requirements, customer needs, building the business case, establishing partner relationships and translating what we learn into product requirements. You will report to the Chief Business Development & Innovation Officer, with day-to-day coordination through the Product & Business Lead. Some travel should be expected.
We are building an AI-native organization. AI is part of how we research, decide and build – not a side project. You will be expected to integrate AI tools in your daily work from day one and to push how far we can take them in business development and product.
Developing new opportunities You will:
- Own the development of new business opportunities from initial hypothesis through assessment, business case and recommendation to launch readiness.
- Analyze and understand player needs, competitors, regulation, licensing and commercial potential.
- Build and manage relationships with relevant partners, suppliers and advisers, and drive negotiations in close collaboration with Legal and relevant stakeholders.
Turning opportunities into product You will:
- Challenge and shape product concepts by combining commercial potential, player needs, regulatory requirements and operational feasibility
- Work across Casino Operations, Technology Platform, Customer Engagement & Growth, Brand Experience & Design, Data, Legal and Compliance to move initiatives from idea through implementation and operational handover.
- Translate market insights, regulatory requirements and partner capabilities into clear product requirements, roadmap and priorities.
- Ensure that regulatory, responsible gambling, player-protection and KYC requirements are built into the product.
What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced profile who combines strong commercial and business development skills with solid product understanding, curiosity and the drive to open new ground and deliver.
You take responsibility for your own deliveries and working day. We offer flexibility, but on the basis of us working physically together as a team at Danske Spil in Brøndby.
You have:
- Solid experience in business development, product management or a comparable commercial role in a digital business.
- Experience from the iGaming industry preferably from an operator.
- Strong product understanding and experience translating commercial opportunities, customer needs and market requirements into product priorities and requirements.
- Strong commercial understanding and a track record of building business cases that led to real commercial results.
- Experience using data, customer insights and AI tools to support decisions – and a genuine curiosity about what AI can do for your work.
- A proactive, structured and solution-oriented approach, and experience working in an international environment across cultures.
- Fluency in English and at least one other European language.
