Using our proprietary technology, we help companies and public organizations securely verify the identities of people and businesses, authenticate users, and enable compliant electronic document signing, so their customers can access services and complete online processes with confidence.

Today, Signicat employs over 530 people across 20 offices in 15 European countries. We work with leading banks, fintechs, telcos, public authorities, healthcare providers, and enterprises across retail and mobility to deliver trusted digital identity and onboarding solutions at scale. Joining Signicat means contributing to a mission that has a real impact on how society works and trusting each other in an increasingly digital world.

The role

We are looking for two System Administrators in Vilnius to join our Internal IT Team within the Enterprise Platform department. Our mission is to empower and enable everyone at Signicat to be as effective as possible.

As a System Administrator, you will play a hands-on, vital role in ensuring our internal systems, infrastructure, and services are stable, secure, and resource efficient. You will be a key contributor to our daily IT operations, balancing proactive system improvements, comprehensive documentation, and collaborative, transparent end-user support. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical troubleshooting, working autonomously on complex assignments, and continuously finding ways to optimize our IT landscape.

Your impact will include:

  • Building & Securing Our Infrastructure: Implementing maintainable, resource-efficient, and secure systems and services that scale with our growth.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Recognizing and addressing areas of improvement within defined scopes, translating opportunities into robust technical enhancements.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Participating proactively in troubleshooting issues related to systems and services in scope, and resolving requests/tickets within the team's queue.
  • Exceptional End-User Service: Providing technical support to colleagues across the company in a proactive, clear, and transparent manner.
  • Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration: Executing complex or ambiguous assignments, both independently and in close cooperation with colleagues, while actively sharing knowledge to elevate the team.
  • Governance & Documentation: Creation and maintenance of clear documentation, standard operating procedures, and comprehensive IT asset inventory.

Who we’re looking for

We are seeking a proactive candidate with a passion for technology, strong hands-on problem-solving skills, and a service-oriented mindset. You have a deep understanding of business and customer needs, enabling you to deliver IT support and systems that truly solve your colleagues' daily pains.

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Proven IT Operations Experience: A solid track record in system administration, IT support, or a closely related technical role.
  • Deep Technical & AI Tooling Administration: Experience administering core IT systems, cloud services, and enterprise productivity suites (such as Microsoft 365, Azure, Google Workspace, and Atlassian). Crucially, you have hands-on experience managing enterprise GenAI platforms (such as Gemini Enterprise and OpenAI Team/Enterprise), including user provisioning, API usage monitoring, custom GPT/Assistant management, and cost/quota optimization.
  • Enterprise Data Management & Governance: A strong understanding of data handling best practices, including data classification, retention policies, and secure storage. You are comfortable managing data flows between SaaS tools, ensuring sensitive corporate data is not leaked into public AI models, and aligning system configurations with GDPR or other relevant compliance standards.
  • Proactive & Autonomous Mindset: The ability to work independently on support tickets, requests, and complex troubleshooting, while remaining a highly collaborative team player.
  • Excellent Communication & Empathy: Strong interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing transparent end-user support and sharing technical knowledge (such as conducting basic prompt engineering or AI tool onboarding sessions) within the team.
  • A Structured Approach: Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when it comes to maintaining accurate documentation, technical procedures, and asset inventories.

What Success Looks Like in Your First Year:

  • Reliable and Secure Systems: You have successfully implemented and maintained secure, resource-efficient systems, keeping technical debt and operational risks low.
  • High-Quality Support & Resolution: You have established yourself as a reliable point of contact, resolving support requests and technical issues autonomously, proactively, and transparently.
  • Comprehensive Documentation: You have created, updated, and organized key operational procedures, technical guides, and asset inventories to ensure continuity and team alignment.
  • Proactive Improvements: You have identified areas of improvement within scope and successfully carried out enhancement initiatives.
  • Collaborative Integration: You have built strong working relationships within the IT team and across Signicat, becoming a trusted partner for Signicat IT needs.
