Job BriefOur company is looking for a detailed-oriented QA Specialist.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPS)
  • Pre-sanitize checks to ensure the product is ready for production
  • Keep track & record of product description details, ie. temperature etc.
  • Conduct regular checks on both raw material and finished product in accordance with the quality standards
  • Assure the quality of produce entering the warehouse and advise if the product should be accepted or rejected
  • Screen out products with deficiencies
  • Liaison with shipping & receiving department and purchasing agents for any product concerns

Job Terms

  • Job Type: Permanent Full-time, 40 hours per week, adjustment pending on business need
  • Probationary Period: 3-months or 480 hours, whichever longer
  • Work Location: 2501-A Stanfield Rd, Mississauga ON, L4Y 1R6
  • Shift Requirement: Must be flexible on Sunday to Fridays depending on operation needs, afternoon shift 3:00pm - 11:00pm
  • Compensation: Starting at $45,000 per year depends on experience level
  • Benefits: Group Benefits entitlement upon completion of probation time

Qualifications

  • Strong & comprehensive knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • College or equivalent diploma required
  • Experience with Internal Auditing as an asset
  • Preference to candidates who has or working towards HACCP
