What you’ll be doing:

  • Build a solid understanding of Hospitality's business processes, customers, and data so you can answer questions accurately and with the right context.
  • Perform analyses such as segmentation, customer health checks, and impact measurement to help teams understand how the business is performing.
  • Write SQL queries and build datasets to answer stakeholder questions, pulling from multiple data sources as needed.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports that make it easy for business partners to track KPIs and spot trends.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand what they're really asking, turning loosely defined questions into a clear analysis plan, with support from senior colleagues on trickier requests.
  • Present findings clearly, with visualizations and a short narrative that explains what the data shows and why it matters.
  • Help spot and investigate data quality issues, documenting what you find and flagging root causes to the right people.

And a lttle bit of:

  • Stay up to date with developments, innovations, and trends in data, including state-of-the-art machine learning models and large language models (LLMs).
  • Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organisational objectives even if this means doing things that aren’t strictly within the scope of your role.

What you need to bring:

  • 2–3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytics role.
  • Solid SQL skills, comfortable querying and joining data across multiple sources.
  • Experience with Python for data analysis is a plus.
  • Experience building dashboards or reports using Looker or a similar BI tool.
  • Exposure to Hospitality, Finance, Accounting, Revenue Operations, Sales, or another operational business environment is a plus.
  • Comfortable turning a business question into an analysis plan, and asking clarifying questions when the ask isn't fully defined.
  • Careful with data accuracy, with a good eye for spotting things that look off.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to explain findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Curious, organized, and a self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with GCP, BigQuery, Dataform, GitHub, or Salesforce is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Segment, Heap type of tools
