Benefits
Full description
Mayflower creates digital entertainment products used by millions of people worldwide. We combine technology, product thinking, and experimentation to build experiences that engage a global audience and shape the future of online entertainment.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Elicitation & Specification: Gather and validate requirements with stakeholders; translate them into clear, testable artifacts (epics/features, user stories/use cases, acceptance criteria, business rules, edge cases, etc.). Use appropriate modeling (flows, state/decision logic, process models) when it improves clarity.
- Requirements Lifecycle Management: Maintain requirements throughout delivery — manage changes, document decisions, and assumptions.
- Knowledge Base Ownership: Create and maintain a structured, searchable knowledge base for product behavior and business rules; ensure documentation is accurate, current, and consistently organized.
- Cross-functional Communication & Alignment: Serve as the primary bridge between Product and Engineering; drive alignment across Product, Design, QA, and Tech on scope, risks, dependencies, and constraints. Communicate complex logic with maximum clarity and minimal context loss.
- Quality & Validation Support: Support delivery quality by reviewing scenarios and acceptance criteria, collaborating with QA, and participating in validation of shipped features against intended requirements.
- AI-Assisted Analysis: Use AI tools (LLMs) to improve speed and quality of BA work (drafting and refining requirements, consistency checks, scenario generation, documentation maintenance), while applying rigorous verification and maintaining accountability for correctness.
You’ll thrive here if you have
- Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst in product development, working closely with cross-functional delivery teams.
- Strong BA Craft: Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems, define business rules, and produce clear, testable requirements with appropriate depth.
- Analytical Speed: Ability to quickly understand existing complex product logic, identify gaps and risks, and document behavior in a way that is usable by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Documentation Excellence: Strong, structured writing skills; ability to create documentation that is concise, consistent, and easy to navigate and maintain over time.
- AI Proficiency: Practical experience using modern AI/LLM tools in day-to-day analysis work to increase throughput and improve quality (not just basic prompting).
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to influence without authority, facilitate discussions, and drive decisions in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher; documentation and discussions are conducted in English.
