Full description

Some people get a little too excited about a perfectly configured identity setup. If you're one of them, keep reading. As our next Senior IT Engineer, you'll help make sure Prisjakt stays secure, productive and running smoothly whether you're hardening our security, helping a colleague with their laptop, or spotting a SaaS subscription we've forgotten we're paying for. If you're the kind of person who enjoys solving problems before anyone else notices them, is always curious about better ways of working, and loves sharing what you've learned, you'll probably feel right at home here.

We're a small, engineering-led IT team based in Malmö, and we're looking for someone who enjoys the variety that comes with working in a lean environment. One moment you might be responding to a helpdesk ticket, the next you're improving our security posture or exploring how AI can be introduced safely. More than anything, we're looking for someone who's curious by nature. Someone who actively seeks out new knowledge, brings fresh ideas to the table, and enjoys guiding others along the way. You'll have real ownership, plenty of freedom to improve how we work, and the opportunity to shape both our security journey and the way our IT team evolves.

What you'll be doing

  • Be the person who keeps our security sharp by working hands-on with identity and access management, endpoint protection, patching, hardening and responding when something doesn't look quite right.
  • Help colleagues across the company with everything from onboarding and devices to Google Workspace, networking and everyday IT support with the same patience whether someone speaks fluent terminal or fluent "my Wi-Fi disappeared."
  • Explore better ways of working, evaluate new tools (including AI), and bring ideas instead of waiting for someone to ask. Curiosity is part of the job.
  • Keep an eye on licenses and SaaS spending, because spending money on things nobody uses isn't nearly as satisfying as deleting them.
  • Share your knowledge, automate repetitive work, document what matters, and guide the team towards smarter, safer ways of working through collaboration and leading by example.

We'd love to meet you if you

  • Have broad IT experience from a small or medium-sized company where you've been trusted to solve whatever landed on your desk.
  • Are naturally curious. You don't wait for someone to tell you what could be better. You spot opportunities, explore new technologies, experiment thoughtfully and enjoy turning good ideas into practical improvements.
  • Have a genuine passion for security and think about risk instinctively. You're comfortable working hands-on with identity and access management (Okta or similar), endpoint protection (CrowdStrike or similar), Google Workspace and networking..
  • Enjoy sharing what you learn. Whether you're introducing a smarter way of working, explaining security to a colleague, or helping the IT team level up, you genuinely enjoy making the people around you better.
  • Take ownership, make thoughtful decisions and care about spending company money wisely, treating it as if it were your own.

Bonus points if you've also worked with

  • Bash automation.
  • Security certifications such as Security+ or vendor certifications.
  • AI governance or introducing AI tools within an organisation.
  • IT and security policies.
  • Jira and Confluence.

You'll be part of a small team where your ideas matter, your improvements are noticed, and you'll have the freedom to explore new technologies and influence how we work. We believe the best engineers never stop learning, and we value people who are just as excited about helping others grow as they are about solving technical challenges. We offer a flexible hybrid setup based in Malmö, generous benefits, and the trust to make a real difference every day.

Why Prisjakt?

At Prisjakt, you'll join a company built on honesty, curiosity and care. We care about making better buying decisions easier for consumers, and we care about creating an environment where people can do great work without pretending to know everything.

You'll have plenty of room to grow, whether that means becoming one of the best specialists in your field or broadening your expertise across multiple channels. You'll work alongside colleagues who genuinely share knowledge rather than guard it, and you'll have real influence over how millions of shoppers discover products every day.

This role is based in Malmö and we'd love for you to be part of that journey. To know more - check our Culture book!
