Position Summary:

As an Associate Systems Management Analyst on the Systems Operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting mission-critical enterprise Mainframe systems onsite at the MN053 Data Center. In this high-impact operational role, you will work within a collaborative team environment to manage high-volume batch operations, maintain environment stability across multiple LPARs, and support core technologies including CICS, DB2, and Workload Automation as a Service (WLAaaS). You will leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline operational workflows, monitor hourly online Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and drive continuous improvement across large-scale Mainframe operations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • In a team environment, handle approximately 15 million batch requests for application staff per month across enterprise Mainframe environments
  • Actively monitor system performance by the hour to ensure upcoming online Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met
  • Escalate operational issues to leadership proactively when SLAs are in jeopardy
  • Support Mainframe maintenance changes and execute Workload Automation requests for multiple application teams
  • Conduct onsite Data Center escorts and strictly enforce compliance with outside vendor security protocols
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline daily operational workflows, automate routine batch processing tasks, and drive continuous improvement
  • Evaluate emerging technology trends to inform operational solution design, batch efficiency, and strategic innovation
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a large-scale Mainframe environment supporting multiple LPARs (or Bachelor's degree)
  • 2+ years of experience supporting multiple application teams with Workload Automation requests
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Mainframe maintenance changes
  • 1+ years of technical experience working with CICS, DB2, and Mainframe infrastructure environments
  • Ability to work onsite full-time at the MN053 Data Center facility and comply with physical security protocols
  • Night shift - Shift (Night Shift End of Week 12.5 hr days. Thur-Fri- Sat)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of working knowledge and hands-on experience using ServiceNow for incident and change management
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing Workload Automation as a Service (WLAaaS) tools such as TWS/z or CA7
  • IT Service Management (ITSM) certification (or equivalent experience utilizing ServiceNow)
  • Practical experience incorporating AI-assisted operational tools to improve task efficiency or incident monitoring

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 to $52.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
