Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with Android application development.
- Experience with Kotlin.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with API Design, Android Libraries, Declarative Programming and API Development.
- Previous knowledge of Jetpack Compose.
- Familiarity with Android as a platform and have an interest in building libraries targeting developers as our users.

- Work closely with other members of the Core Remote Compose team to build new functionality in the Remote Compose codebase.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across wear, homescreen app widgets, and other form factors to unblock their use of Remote Compose on novel new surfaces with guidance from leads.
- Work and iterate on Application Programming Interface (API) design with input from the team and community.
- Be focused on providing the best user experience for our developer community.
