About the Opportunity

The Ellucian brand is booming – and we’re looking to hire a Senior Graphic Designer to help us bring it to life! This spring, we launched a refreshed brand look and feel for Ellucian to better represent the critical role we play in the success of higher education institutions around the world. The new look shows our balance of over 50 years of experience combined with the most innovative technology solutions available. Our design function is a critical component of our Marketing team and touches areas across the company. In this role, you will create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media for campaigns, content assets, presentations, social media, the web, and more. You’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail.

Where you will make an impact

• Use design briefs and requirements to conceptualize visuals
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs
• Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Expanding the brand while maintaining brand consistency

What you will bring

• Six to ten years of proven graphic designing experience
• A compelling portfolio with projects showcasing skills that are relevant to visual content goals
• Highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator,

Photoshop, and Acrobat. Skilled at PowerPoint and Word.

• Strong experience in digital publications, presentations, ads, social graphics, infographics

web graphics, and conference collateral

• Proficiency using AI-enabled creative and productivity tools (such as Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Midjourney, Canva AI, or similar) to support ideation, content creation, visual storytelling, and workflow optimization
• Experience in email templates, motion graphics, and video a plus
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Ability to clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices
