Job Title: Project Manager 1

Location: G3 Head Office (On-Site)

Our Project Manager I plays a key role in driving projects from concept to completion. Responsible for managing the technical, functional, and financial aspects of multiple concurrent initiatives, this individual combines strong project management expertise with a customer-focused mindset. Success in this role requires the ability to build relationships, navigate complex priorities, and work collaboratively to deliver exceptional outcomes for stakeholders and sponsors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and confer with project staff to outline a work plan.
  • Establish a work plan and staffing for project activities, iterations, or phases, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
  • Analyze project proposals to determine a time frame, funding limitations and appropriate processes for accomplishing projects.
  • Monitor project activities, ensuring the currency, quality, and integrity of information, while providing consistency in content and “look and feel” across the organization.
  • Ensure that project goals are in line with business objectives.
  • Ensure that project goals are achieved.
  • Communicate status on projects to stakeholders.
  • Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
  • Establish and lead change management activities for projects and initiatives.
  • Can be called on to assist with Business Analysis tasks where required

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Education/ Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, or equivalent relevant work experience.

Experience

  • Proven experience managing projects and delivering successful outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, including scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to identify, understand, and communicate customer and business needs.
  • Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with clients, sponsors, and team members.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team environment.
