Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, quality, documentation, and client relationships while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Projects may include healthcare, K-12, and higher education facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial construction projects from planning through closeout.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Participate in preconstruction activities for Construction Management and Design-Build projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, field personnel, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, quality, costs, and timelines.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
- Lead project meetings with clients, subcontractors, stakeholders, and internal project teams.
- Identify, manage, and resolve project risks, delays, conflicts, and field issues.
- Ensure projects comply with applicable safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and project partners.
- Support successful project delivery while maintaining cost and schedule objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
- Experience with healthcare, K-12, or higher education construction projects preferred.
- Knowledge of Construction Management-at-Risk (CMaR) delivery is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project schedules.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proven ability to coordinate effectively with clients, subcontractors, field teams, and internal stakeholders.
