Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Coordinate, execute, and support key product management and supply chain operations with critical information analysis and reporting. Ensure that processes are effectively documented and managed, and that opportunities for improvement are implemented and shared across team. Manage complex supplier, supply chain, and sales information reporting. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. Provide ongoing financial and business case analysis to support team decisions. Help manage Tableau data reporting portal for division.
Key Tasks:
- General: Create and manage data reporting and availability strategy for the Tools Group. Use Tableau and other queries and reporting from ERP systems and data tables. Responsible for all aspects of product management and supply chain data reporting and analysis. Act as liaison for various departments regarding product management data related issues (customer service, warehouse, transportation, expediting, accounting and purchasing).
- Product Management: Weekly Sales reports and trends, warranty analysis and problem identificaiton, marketing funding amounts due, $1M new product tracking, supplier purchase information, and vendor repair database.
- Marketing: Support competitive pricing and gross margin analysis. Coordinate all price changes, printing of price lists, and review of new and promotional offers.
- Purchasing/Pricing: Generate supplier purchasing reports and perfom pricing analysis; perform sales analysis and manager special projects; generate inventory analysis; create open order, past order, new product, and discontinued product reports. Work to provide similar data to the manufacturing plants.
- Data availability – Use Tableau to improve availability and ease of use for user data in product management and supply chain areas to increase data availability and improve decision making.
- Power BI – Use of Power BI to create stock Product Management reports. Be the first line of quality review prior to requests going to IT. Control and manage requests to consolidate reporting to a few gold standard reports that are updated depending on use case.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience or training.
- Prefer experience in a broad range of functions, including marketing, supply chain, finance, purchasing (domestic and global) and sales
- Ability to create Structured Query Language (SQL) queries to generate reports from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and MRP based systems
- Familiarity with SQL Server, Oracle Database systems, and VBA programming
- Demonstrated proficiency in Tableau, Data Lake, and Microsoft Office: Access, Excel and Word
- Proven project management skills and the ability to solve complex problems
