JOB DESCRIPTION

Analyst - Cybersecurity (Security Administration) 

Location: Krakow, Poland (Hybrid)  

Type: Full time 

Shift:  Monday to Friday – 2:00 PM to10:00 PM 

Position Summary 

The Analyst - Cybersecurity (Security Administration) is responsible for supporting day-to-day identity and access administration activities across the organization. This role ensures users receive appropriate access to systems and resources in accordance with established security policies, approval processes, and service-level expectations. 

The analyst works closely with Identity & Access Management (IAM), application teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to fulfill access requests, troubleshoot access issues, and support identity lifecycle processes. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Process user access requests, modifications, and removals in accordance with established IAM processes and approvals. 
  • Administer Active Directory accounts, security groups, distribution lists, and related access. 
  • Support user onboarding, transfers, terminations, and other identity lifecycle events. 
  • Perform manual provisioning and deprovisioning activities for applications and platforms that are not fully automated. 
  • Investigate and resolve access-related incidents, service requests, and provisioning failures. 
  • Validate appropriate approvals before granting or modifying access. 
  • Support mailbox, group, and application access administration as required. 
  • Monitor assigned ServiceNow requests and incidents to ensure timely completion within established SLAs. 
  • Escalate provisioning failures, system issues, and access exceptions to the appropriate engineering or application teams. 
  • Support periodic access reviews, audits, certifications, and remediation activities. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation and evidence for access changes when required. 
  • Follow established security standards, procedures, and segregation-of-duties requirements. 
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes through automation and process improvements. 
  • Maintain knowledge articles, operational procedures, and support documentation. 
  • Collaborate with global IAM and Security Administration teams to provide consistent access administration services. 

Technical Skills 

Experience or working knowledge in: 

  • Active Directory 
  • Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory 
  • Microsoft 365 / Exchange administration 
  • ServiceNow 
  • Security groups and Distribution Lists 
  • User provisioning and deprovisioning 
  • PowerShell or other scripting/automation technologies 
  • Access certifications and audit support 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. 
  • Experience supporting Identity & Access Management, Security Administration, IT operations, or a related technology function. 
  • Understanding of identity lifecycle processes including joiners, movers, and leavers. 
  • Familiarity with access control principles, least privilege, and security governance. 
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a high-volume operational environment. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established security procedures. 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
