We are seeking a meticulous and insightful Data Analyst to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for uncovering trends and insights from complex datasets to help drive our mission forward. This is a Full-time position, and the successful candidate can be based in either Tennessee or Illinois, USA. You will play a crucial role in shaping our strategies by providing data-driven recommendations that have a real-world impact on health and well-being.
Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for turning data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collecting, cleaning, and interpreting large and complex datasets related to user behaviour, health outcomes, and programme effectiveness.
- Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to track key performance indicators and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Analysing data to identify significant trends, patterns, and opportunities for organisational improvement and growth.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and behavioural science, to understand their data requirements and provide actionable insights.
- Conducting statistical analysis to assess the impact and effectiveness of our incentive programmes.
- Presenting complex information and findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our data by implementing and overseeing robust data quality processes.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong analytical mindset and the following qualifications:
- Proven professional experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data.
- Demonstrable experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language, such as Python or R.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex analytical concepts to a diverse audience.
- A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field like Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
- A genuine interest in health, wellness, and behavioural science is highly desirable.
