About the Role

You will join a high-performing team that builds and operates cloud-based connected vehicle services for the automotive industry. This is a hands-on role for you if you enjoy combining software development with cloud operations, automation and production support. You will work across the full lifecycle of the solution, from development and deployment to monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous improvement, together with experienced engineers in an international environment. It is an exciting opportunity to work close to production and influence how modern services are developed, operated and improved over time.

Job Description

  • You will develop and maintain backend services and supporting components in a cloud-native environment.
  • You will take an active role in operating services in production and improving availability, reliability and performance.
  • You will monitor and troubleshoot production systems, investigate incidents and help drive them to resolution.
  • You will strengthen observability through logging, metrics, monitoring and alerting.
  • You will automate operational tasks and improve deployment and operational processes.
  • You will contribute to root cause analysis and implement improvements that reduce recurring incidents.
  • You will collaborate closely with developers, architects, quality assurance and other stakeholders to continuously improve the service.
  • You will take end-to-end ownership of technical issues and help move them forward in a structured and pragmatic way.

Requirements

  • You have strong software development skills in Java, Spring Boot and Python.
  • You have solid experience working with AWS.
  • You are comfortable with DevOps practices and CI/CD.
  • You have experience with containers and cloud-native technologies.
  • You have worked with monitoring, logging and observability.
  • You are confident troubleshooting distributed systems and production issues.
  • You have experience with automation and scripting.
  • You work with Git and modern software development practices.
  • You enjoy working close to operations and taking responsibility for improvements in production.
