Job Description:

Command is responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It supports Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. Contract personnel will provide key components to ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT & AV services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments

  • Executes data quality and engineering initiatives, ensuring that standards and requirements are met across the organization.
  • Enforces data policies and procedures, conducts data quality assessments, and implements quality control processes.
  • Applies quality industry standards adhering to specific data quality requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Uses standard data elements to develop data models and performs data quality analysis to detect and prevent data defects before they corrupt databases or end-user applications.
  • Ensures data dictionary and metadata accuracy, consistency, and reliability by identifying and reporting on potential issues like missing values, incorrect data types, or anomalies.
  • Engineers data quality monitoring systems to automatically flag data quality problems as they occur, allowing for timely intervention and remediation.
  • Actively monitors data streams, identifying any potential quality issues and performing corrective actions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • BA/BS Degree or 4+ years of related experience
  • Proficiency utilizing technical tools demonstrating a strong understanding of relational databases, metadata management, data engineering, and data modeling (Preference: Erwin Data Modeler)
  • Security Clearance Level: Must have a current/active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI status
  • Ability to obtain an ITIL 5 Foundation certification within the first 9 months of employment
  • Ability to obtain a CompTIA A+, CND, or Security+
  • Location: Offutt AFB, NE
  • Ability to perform data quality analysis (ServiceNow, Microsoft Access, & Power BI) and identify defects, anomalies, and inconsistencies.
  • Knowledge of data modeling (Erwin Data Modeler) and use of standard data elements.
  • Experience developing data dictionaries and enforcing data standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with metadata management and data governance principles.
  • Understanding of root-cause analysis and corrective action for data issues.
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and nontechnical audiences.

The likely salary range for this position is $58,225 - $78,775. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
