Job Description

As a Product Manager, you'll bring your product expertise into a new way of working. You won't just write specs and manage roadmaps — you'll define missions, validate outcomes with data, and use AI to accelerate discovery, analysis, and delivery. You'll work in a small, mission-driven cross-functional team called a pod — three functions (Product, Engineer, Quality) with high agency, shared ownership, and no hand-offs.

Reporting to the Product Leader, you'll join the Product & Technology Team. Are you ready to be part of a team that's redefining how products get built in an AI Native setup?

What You Will Do

• Define and own the pod's mission — the business outcome, the target customer, the success metrics.
• Validate ideas with data and customer insight before committing the pod to build.
• Use AI agents for discovery, competitive analysis, spec writing, and backlog health.
• Write specs that both humans and AI can parse — clear acceptance criteria, clear "why".
• Operate in continuous flow (Kanban) — prioritise ruthlessly, respect WIP limits, ship daily.
• Map dependencies and integration points across teams. Unblock the pod before it gets blocked.
• Get your hands dirty — prototype, script, or contribute code with AI assistance when it moves the mission faster.
• Understand the engineering decisions behind the product — architecture trade-offs, system constraints, deployment impact.
• Track mission KPIs in production and use outcomes to steer what comes next.
• Collaborate across pods, stakeholders, and commercial partners spanning multiple geographies.

Engineering Mindset — What We Look For

We assess every candidate across six core dimensions:

• AI Fluency — AI is the primary way we engineer. You prompt, evaluate, iterate. Manual coding is a deliberate choice, not the default.
• Cross-Functional Versatility — "That's not my area" doesn't exist. You contribute beyond your discipline, share openly, and communicate clearly across formats.
• Customer and Value Awareness — Ask "why" and "for whom" before "how". Zoom out to see the business, zoom in to trace the bug. Map dependencies before you build.
• Craft — Pride in the quality of what you create — specs, prototypes, or code with AI assistance. Clear structure, attention to detail, and a bar that applies to every artefact you ship.
• Technical Curiosity — Build a prototype and break it before reading the docs. Stay curious about how things work.
• Agency & Entrepreneurship — Don't wait for permission. Own outcomes end-to-end, make others successful, challenge the status quo.

Must Have

• Experienced Product Manager with a track record of delivering excellent digital experiences.
• Strong product strategy, discovery, and prioritisation skills — RICE, impact mapping, or equivalent.
• Ability to write clear specs and acceptance criteria that engineering and AI agents can act on.
• Data-driven decision making — comfortable with KPIs, A/B testing, analytics, and customer research.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted workflows — using AI for discovery, competitive analysis, spec writing, and validation.
• Experience managing dependencies and stakeholders across international, cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and presentation — with the ability to adjust for audience.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and product lifecycle tooling.
• Ability to mentor other Product Managers — onboarding new PMs and supporting the growth of peers through coaching and knowledge-sharing.

Nice to Have

• Ability to write or modify code with AI assistance — prototyping, scripting, or contributing small changes directly.
• Engineering degree or technical background — able to engage confidently in architecture and system design discussions.
• Experience with agent systems, AI evaluation, or building AI-augmented product workflows.
• Background in industries with strict regulatory requirements (gaming, financial services, healthcare).
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, or working directly with design systems.
