The Role

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Engineer for a 4–6 month project supporting a major entertainment studio in Los Angeles. This role will focus on transforming raw data into clean, reliable, analytics-ready datasets that support studio distribution and licensing operations.

Candidates must have hands-on studio distribution and licensing domain experience. This is a key requirement for the position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable data models and transformations using dbt and SQL.
  • Clean, transform, and organize complex datasets for analytics and reporting.
  • Work with distribution and licensing data, including content, rights, and related studio information.
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable data solutions.
  • Identify and resolve data quality, consistency, and reliability issues.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with dbt, SQL, data transformation, and data modeling.
  • Studio distribution and licensing domain experience is required.
  • Previous experience within a major studio or Media & Entertainment organization is strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Los Angeles four days per week.
