We are currently searching for a Java Kubernetes Developer:
The Challenge (Responsibilities)
- Design and implement efficient and scalable back-end solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and associated technologies like Anthos.
- Define clean architectures (microservices, event-driven, hexagonal) and guarantee best practices (Sonar, CheckMarx, Fortify, BlackDuck, SOLID, Clean Code).
- Optimize performance and resolve bottlenecks in existing systems.
- Integrate applications with databases, external services, and APIs.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and pair programming.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FrontEnd, DevOps, QA) to integrate solutions.
- Implement unit and integration testing (JUnit, Mockito) and ensure strong code coverage.
- Apply modern security standards (OWASP, JWT/OAuth2 authentication).
- Work heavily with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automate deployment pipelines utilizing CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Document technical designs, decisions, and processes to maintain accessible team knowledge.
Your Profile (Requirements)
- Solid expertise in JPA/Hibernate, OAuth 2.0/OIDC 2.0, and Kerberos Windows Integration.
- Strong hands-on experience with SPRING Security and SPRING BOOT 6.0.
- Frontend proficiency utilizing REACT 19 (or minimum REACT 18).
- Proven experience orchestrating containers with Kubernetes and Google Anthos.
- Database mastery spanning SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra).
- Experience implementing event/messaging streams with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS.
- Proficiency in version control tools like Git (GitHub/GitLab).
- Experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
- Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."
Desired
- Certifications in Java (Oracle Certified Professional) or Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/Anthos).
- Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.
Languages
- Intermediate English: For daily operational collaboration and technical documentation.
- Advanced Spanish.
Special Notes
- The initial week of assignment may require 100% on-site presence.
- Occasional 1-week on-site periods may be required by management for planning, refining sessions, and training.
- Future state note: While currently hybrid, our client may transition to a 100% on-site work model in the future. Candidates must be aware of and open to this potential shift.
