Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Ruby on Rails.

• Build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and system integrations for cloud-based platforms.

• Develop and implement microservices that improve application scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including technical design, development, testing, code reviews, deployment, and production support.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions aligned with business requirements.

• Optimize database interactions and application performance while ensuring code quality and maintainability.

• Write unit tests and integration tests to support reliable and stable software releases.

• Contribute to technical discussions, architectural improvements, and continuous enhancement of engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing applications with Ruby on Rails.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Familiarity with scalable application architectures and microservices.

• Experience writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, and backend development best practices.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
