Short Description:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer or Architect to support, maintain, and evolve our enterprise Salesforce platform powering environmental grant programs and citizen-facing portals. This individual will work within a complex, multi-program org serving a state public sector agency and must be comfortable across the full Salesforce stack, from low-code automation to custom Apex development and OmniStudio solutions.

 

Complete Description:

Core Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch/scheduled jobs, and LWC components across multiple program domains (grants, licensing, environmental compliance) Build and enhance Experience Cloud portals supporting citizen self-service for program applications, document submission, voucher redemption, and status tracking

• Develop and manage OmniStudio OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and FlexCards supporting grant application workflows

• Configure and extend Grantmaking functionality including funding awards, bid management, eval forms, and disbursement records

• Maintain and improve complex automation including 130+ Flows, scheduled batch jobs, and trigger frameworks with metadata-driven control (Trigger_Control_mdt)

• Maintain and extend Public Sector Solutions (PSS) including licensing, permitting, and regulatory compliance features Collaborate with program managers and stakeholders to translate regulatory and business requirements into scalable technical solutions

• Write and maintain unit tests meeting code coverage standards; conduct code reviews and enforce development best practices

• Participate in release management, sandbox management, and deployment pipelines using Salesforce DX (SFDX)

 

Required Qualifications :

• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flows) Strong proficiency in OmniStudio (OmniScript, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, FlexCards), Vlocity/Salesforce OmniStudio certification preferred Hands-on experience with Experience Cloud (portal design, authentication, guest user security, login flows) Experience working with Public Sector Solutions (PSS) or similar industry clouds

• Familiarity with Grantmaking or grant lifecycle management in Salesforce

• Proven ability to build and debug complex multi-step Flows and Process Builder replacements Experience with batch/scheduled Apex, platform events, and async processing patterns

• Understanding of Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules) as it applies to citizen-facing portals

• Experience with external document management or storage integrations (REST/SOAP APls, callouts) Proficiency with Salesforce DX, version control (Git), and Cl/CD pipelines

• Strong communication skills for working directly with non-technical government stakeholders

 

Preferred/ Nice-to-Have :

• Salesforce Certified Agentforce Specialist, strongly preferred given our roadmap to leverage Al agents for application triage, program eligibility guidance, and citizen self-service automation

• Active Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer 1/11, or OmniStudio Consultant

• Experience with PDF generation patterns (Visualforce/LWC-based certificate and document generation) Background in environmental regulatory programs, government incentive programs, or permitting workflows Familiarity with voucher lifecycle management, round-robin assignment patterns, or complex approval workflows Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards for public-facing portals
