This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Analyst, Appraisal Operations based in United States.
This role supports strategic and operational initiatives within a fast-moving appraisal and real estate technology environment. You will turn complex operational data into actionable insights that improve performance and decision-making. The position combines business analysis, process optimization, project support, and stakeholder management. You will work across customer experience operations while partnering with teams in finance, sales, product, and other business functions. Your analysis will help identify trends, strengthen business cases, improve processes, and support scalable solutions. With significant autonomy, you will manage multiple initiatives and communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders. Accountabilities
• Lead requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand, analyze, and document operational needs, translating them into clear business requirements.
• Define project scope, objectives, and priorities while ensuring initiatives remain aligned with broader operational and strategic goals.
• Create user stories and acceptance criteria, and validate delivered solutions against identified business requirements.
• Provide analytical support for performance improvement initiatives, identifying trends, opportunities, and operational challenges through data.
• Prepare recurring internal reporting covering performance, financial results, escalations, and other key operational metrics.
• Respond to customer and stakeholder requests for custom analysis, translating business questions into useful data-driven insights.
• Analyze appraiser and broker panel coverage to identify capacity, performance, and operational opportunities.
• Support the broader customer experience organization in developing robust business cases for system enhancements and operational improvements.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical presentations using tools such as Google Sheets, Google Slides, and QuickSight.
• Present complex analysis, findings, and recommendations clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, providing structure, follow-through, and analytical leadership with a high degree of autonomy.
• Provide project support or leadership to initiatives across other business divisions when required.
Requirements
• 2–4 years of experience in a Junior Analyst, QA Analyst, Data Analyst, Operations Associate, or similar analytical/operational role, with exposure to project support, documentation, and reporting.
• Strong data-analysis capabilities, including the ability to investigate complex questions, identify meaningful trends, and develop insights with limited direction.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including the ability to perform detailed business analysis and create effective reporting.
• Experience creating dashboards, reports, presentations, or other data-driven deliverables for business stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, with P&L or financial-analysis experience considered an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and help guide project direction through data and sound business reasoning.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills, coupled with strong attention to detail and a solutions-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership while collaborating effectively across teams.
• Experience mentoring or developing colleagues is valued.
