Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to support the modernization and enhancement of critical banking applications. The role involves refactoring existing applications, developing new features, deploying applications to Kubernetes environments, supporting QA and automation testing, and driving CI/CD implementation across the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java Spring Boot, React, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines, along with experience working in enterprise-scale, cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Modernization

• Refactor and modernize existing Java applications to improve maintainability, scalability, and performance.
• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Spring Boot.
• Develop and enhance responsive user interfaces using React.
• Analyze legacy applications and implement modernization strategies.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce coding standards, and best practices.

Containerization & Kubernetes

• Containerize applications using Docker.
• Deploy, configure, and manage applications running on Kubernetes clusters.
• Troubleshoot deployment, performance, and scalability issues within containerized environments.
• Support Kubernetes operations, monitoring, and platform integration.

CI/CD & DevOps

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Integrate automated quality checks and security scans into deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with DevOps and platform engineering teams to improve deployment efficiency.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and deployment automation where applicable.

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure application quality and release readiness.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites.
• Support functional, regression, integration, and performance testing activities.
• Participate in defect analysis and resolution.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with Architects, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Infrastructure teams.
• Create technical documentation and deployment procedures.
• Support production releases and post-deployment activities.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

8-10 years of software development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Docker containerization.
• Experience deploying and supporting applications on Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
• Experience with Git-based version control systems.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience supporting application modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture patterns.
• Experience implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of security best practices and secure software development.
