IT SYSTEMS & NETWORK ENGINEER

At Kent Consumer Brands APAC, technology plays a critical role in supporting our manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution operations across the region. We're looking for an experienced IT Systems & Network Engineer to join our team and take ownership of our infrastructure, networks, cloud platforms, cybersecurity controls, and end-user computing environments across multiple sites. Based on the Gold Coast, this role offers the opportunity to work across both strategic projects and hands-on technical support, partnering with local teams, global IT teams, and external vendors.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of IT, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, securing, and continuously improving our infrastructure and network environment across APAC. You will act as a technical escalation point while helping deliver infrastructure modernisation, cybersecurity initiatives, cloud services, and manufacturing technology projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, manage and support enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments

• Manage servers, storage, backups and disaster recovery solutions

• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability and capacity

• Support and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and internet connectivity across multiple sites

• Manage networking equipment including routers, switches, firewalls and wireless infrastructure

• Support Microsoft 365 environments and Azure cloud technologies

• Partner with operational technology (OT) teams to support manufacturing site infrastructure

• Lead and participate in infrastructure, network and technology projects

• Identify infrastructure and cybersecurity risks and implement mitigation strategies

• Support incident response, threat management and security improvement initiatives

• Provide technical expertise and escalation support to the broader IT team

Essential Experience & Skills

• 5+ years' experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments

• 5+ years' experience supporting complex network environments

• Strong Microsoft 365 administration experience

• Experience supporting Microsoft Azure cloud technologies

• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking technologies

• Experience with VMware or equivalent virtualisation platforms

• Experience working across multiple sites and geographically dispersed teams

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Ability to prioritise competing demands and manage projects effectively

Desirable Qualifications & Certifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking or related discipline

• CCNA or equivalent networking certification

• Microsoft certifications

• VMware certifications

• ITIL Foundation certification

• Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments
