Overview:

The Business Technology Solutions Analyst Business Technology & Automation Analyst designs and implements technology solutions that simplify business processes, improve productivity, and drive operational efficiency across the organization.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

Process Automation & Workflow Development

Improves operational efficiency through process optimization, workflow automation, and technology solutions.

  • Partner with department leaders to evaluate business processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
  • Design and develop automated workflows, low-code applications, and business solutions.
  • Define workflow requirements, business rules, and technical specifications.
  • Configure business systems, workflows, and automations to support operational needs.
  • Integrate business applications to improve data flow and reduce manual work.
  • Coordinate software implementations, system enhancements, testing, and vendor support.
  • Document workflows, technical solutions, and implementation procedures.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and third-party technology vendors, developers, and implementation partners.

Business Intelligence, Reporting & Data Solutions

  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking tools that provide leadership with accurate, timely, and actionable business insights.
  • Improve reporting accuracy by reducing manual spreadsheets and standardizing data.
  • Maintain data integrity through validation, standardization, and reporting improvements.
  • Identify reporting opportunities that improve operational visibility and decision-making.

Training & User Adoption

  • Supports successful implementation and adoption of business technology solutions.
  • Develop training, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Train employees on business systems, reporting tools, and automated workflows.
  • Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and promote technology adoption.
  • Gather user feedback and recommend continuous improvements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Information Systems, Operations, Construction Management, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in business systems, operational technology, process improvement, business intelligence, workflow automation, product ownership, or a related discipline.
  • Experience evaluating business processes and implementing technology solutions that improve operational efficiency.
  • Experience with workflow automation, business intelligence, reporting, and business systems administration.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Excel Power Query, Power BI, Data Studio, Zapier, Claude, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with construction management software such as RedTeam, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Viewpoint, or Sage is nice to have.
  • Strong analytical, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

  • Regular use of a computer, including typing and viewing digital plans and documents
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move about construction sites as needed
  • Occasional lifting or carrying of materials such as documents, binders, or small equipment (up to 25 lbs)
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when on job sites
