We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Quantum Tech Project Manager.

In this role you will:

  • Project Initiation and Planning: Develop and manage well-defined business cases and project plans in partnership with project sponsors, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives related to quantum technologies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Secure buy-in and influence senior management stakeholders and business partners for key decisions and commitments. Effectively communicate project goals and progress to a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams from Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Operations on execution, timelines, and escalations. Ensure coherent integration of emerging technologies, addressing any challenges that arise.
  • Industry Collaboration: Lead industry collaborations with regulators, academic institutions, vendors, and ecosystem partners, particularly within the quantum computing space.
  • Performance and Risk Management: Proactively determine, analyse, and identify performance metrics and measurements. Implement improvement plans to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to budget while managing risks associated with emerging technologies.
  • Change Management and Realisation: Oversee the implementation of change initiatives to ensure business benefits are realised. Facilitate a smooth transition from current to target state, ensuring organisational readiness.
  • Leadership and Team Dynamics: Promote a dynamic and energetic team environment, leading by example and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

To be successful you will need:

  • Project Management Expertise: Proven ability to deliver large-scale and complex projects end-to-end. Industry accreditation in Project Management preferred (e.g., Agile, Scrum Master, PMP).
  • Technical Acumen: While not essential, knowledge of quantum computing and familiarity with programming languages and AI tools is a bonus.
  • Strategic and Commercial Awareness: Demonstrated ability to align projects with strategic business goals and exhibit strong financial acumen.
  • Influential Communication and Relationship Building: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: Flexibility to work across teams and regions while maintaining an enterprise-wide perspective. Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology landscapes and manage complex projects with resilience.
  • Innovative Mindset: Knowledge of industry best practices and tools to drive innovation, automation, and data analytics.
