Location: Hong Kong Practice: Capital Markets
- As a manager in the Post Trade practice, you will help build and shape the practice.
- You will be responsible for managing and delivering client projects in Capital Markets, reporting directly to senior management who will provide oversight and direction.
- Having responsibility for delivering high-quality client projects you will be expected to contribute to developing the capabilities of the practice and its people.
The role will entail working closely with clients to enhance their capital markets processes, systems, controls, and operating models; optimize how they respond to regulatory requirements and market change; and support the delivery of practical, client-focused transformation solutions.
What you will do:
Delivery -
- Analyze, design and implement solutions that meet the client’s needs
- Manage the delivery of client projects, actively contributing to projects/solutions as required
- Engage with the client, as necessary, during the solution development and proposal finalization periods.
- Be able to communicate issues, problems, and concerns faced by clients, and their solutions, in a manner that is representative of us as a thought-leading consultancy
- Recognize when relevant risks or concerns related to the implementation of a client proposal need to be escalated, and take timely action to support resolution.
New Business Development –
- Identify and develop opportunities to grow the business
- Assist the sales team by crafting, developing, and advising on solution approaches for Practice campaigns and/or campaigns that require Practice expertise and input
- Develop relevant documentation for client proposals
- Contribute to the Practice sales campaign pipeline in relation to upcoming regulatory and market driven change
- Assist with Horizon scanning and perform the “so what analysis,” contributing to identification of firm wide opportunities (the campaign pipeline)
- Partnership & Teamwork – Support the development of the Practice and the company
- Assist in the recruitment of top talent across the Practice, from analyst to experienced hire level.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure consistent and effective use of internal capabilities and support cross-Practice cooperation and education.
- Participating in internal efforts around continuous learning, personal and professional development, and team building
- Mentor and serve as a role model to less experienced colleagues, leading by example, engaging proactively with colleagues at all levels
- Opportunity to act as a performance line manager and a functional manager.

- Support company growth by building and maintaining a strong professional network, including developing and maintaining relationships with clients and partners alike
- Support thought leadership around campaigns targeted at areas within the Practice
Requirements
About you
Either financial services consulting or change experience within a financial services organization (e.g. investment bank, asset manager, market infrastructure, or service provider)
Knowledge of several of the following topics:
Project management
Business analysis

Trade and transaction reporting including regulations such as MiFID II, EMIR, CFTC, ASIC and MAS (including the latest rewrites and refits).
