About the role: 

Builds enterprise data and AI capabilities to enable secure, scalable, and high-quality data-driven decisions. Applies AI/ML, automation, and strong governance to drive efficiency and business value.

Job Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Management

  • Own annual budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial planning for the Data & AI organization.
  • Monitor actuals against budgets and proactively identify financial risks and opportunities.
  • Manage cost center financials, headcount planning, vendor budgets, and investment tracking.
  • Build business cases and ROI models for strategic initiatives.
  • Support annual operating plans and long-range planning exercises.

Portfolio & Program Governance

  • Establish governance across strategic programs and transformation initiatives.
  • Track program health, milestones, risks, dependencies, and executive actions.
  • Develop executive dashboards and portfolio reporting for leadership reviews.
  • Drive governance forums, steering committees, and operational reviews.
  • Ensure delivery teams follow defined governance standards.

Vendor & Commercial Management

  • Manage strategic vendor engagements and commercial governance.
  • Track Statements of Work (SOWs), purchase orders, invoices, and vendor performance.
  • Monitor resource utilization and contractor spend.
  • Support contract renewals and financial negotiations.

Executive Reporting & Business Operations

  • Prepare executive presentations, board updates, and monthly business reviews.
  • Build insightful reports on organizational performance, investments, and key metrics.
  • Support leadership decision-making through financial and operational analysis.
  • Track strategic OKRs and operational KPIs.

Workforce & Capacity Planning

  • Support global workforce planning across employees and contractors.
  • Monitor hiring plans, utilization, attrition, and organizational capacity.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Finance on hiring approvals.
  • Develop resource forecasting models aligned with business priorities.

Process Excellence

  • Standardize operational processes across Strategy & Operations.
  • Drive automation of financial and operational reporting.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities across planning, governance, and reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • MBA, CA, CMA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • 8–12 years of experience in Program Management, Finance, Strategy, PMO, or Business Operations.
  • Experience supporting technology, digital transformation, or Data & AI organizations.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and portfolio management.
  • Experience managing executive governance and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with global teams across multiple geographies.
  • Exposure to Data & AI, Cloud, Digital Transformation, or Enterprise Technology programs.
  • Knowledge of financial planning processes and investment governance.
  • Experience with vendor and commercial management.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
