About the Role:

Precious Thoughts Custom Printing in St. Louis, MO is looking for a creative and customer-focused Print Shop Consultant / Graphic Designer to join their team! In this dynamic dual role, you'll bring customers' visions to life through thoughtful design and expert print consultation. If you love blending creativity with customer service, this is the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with customers to understand their custom printing needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Create and edit graphic designs for a variety of print products including apparel, signage, banners, and promotional materials
  • Prepare print-ready files and ensure artwork meets production specifications
  • Operate and manage print shop software and design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Review proofs and coordinate with production staff to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Provide quotes, process orders, and maintain accurate customer records

Requirements:

  • Experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio of print or marketing materials
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or similar design software
  • Knowledge of print production processes, file preparation, and color management
  • Strong customer service and communication skills with a consultative approach
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for typography, layout, and design aesthetics
  • Prior experience in a print shop, sign shop, or similar environment is a plus but not required
