Build Your Career in Business Applications

PowerPusher is looking for a curious, technically minded Business Applications Analyst I to join our team in Shakopee, MN.

This is an early-career opportunity for someone who enjoys technology, solving problems, working with data, and understanding how systems support a business. You don't need to be a NetSuite or Salesforce expert on Day 1-we'll provide the training and hands-on experience needed to build your expertise.

You'll work across Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Inventory, and Manufacturing while developing skills in NetSuite ERP, Salesforce CRM, data, integrations, automation, reporting, and business process improvement.

As your knowledge and technical capabilities grow, so will your ownership and responsibilities.

What You'll Do

Business Applications

  • Support and progressively take ownership of routine administration of NetSuite, Salesforce, and other business applications.
  • Troubleshoot application, workflow, configuration, and data issues.
  • Maintain reports, dashboards, saved searches, fields, forms, workflows, user access, and approved configurations.
  • Assist with application enhancements, upgrades, releases, and testing.
  • Support employees in effectively using business applications.
  • Maintain application documentation, procedures, and user guides.

Data, Integrations & Automation

  • Perform data imports, exports, validation, cleanup, and reporting.
  • Monitor integrations between NetSuite, Salesforce, and other applications and help investigate issues.
  • Develop basic scripts, queries, workflows, and automations as your technical skills grow.
  • Explore opportunities to use AI and emerging technologies to improve productivity and access to information.

Business Process Improvement

  • Learn how Sales, Finance, Operations, and Manufacturing processes connect with our business systems.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual work, and improve data quality.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and implementation of system changes.
  • Assist with user training and adoption of new or improved functionality.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or a related field preferred; or an equivalent combination of relevant manufacturing/operations, business systems experience, and demonstrated technical aptitude.
  • 0–3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Foundation in databases, SQL, programming or scripting, data analytics, or similar technologies.
  • Coursework or experience involving accounting, finance, sales, marketing, operations, supply chain, or manufacturing is helpful.
  • Exposure to NetSuite, Salesforce, ERP/CRM systems, APIs, integrations, scripting, automation, or AI-enabled tools is a plus-but not required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies and business processes.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and nontechnical team members.

Who Will Thrive in This Role

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Are naturally curious and like figuring out how things work.
  • Enjoy solving problems and finding better ways to get things done.
  • Learn quickly and apply feedback.
  • Take ownership and follow through.
  • Want exposure to both technology and business operations.
  • Are looking for a role where you can develop into a business applications professional rather than remain limited to one system or function.
