Job Description:
Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. This role will develop applications, automate business processes, manage data solutions, and deliver reporting and analytics using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL, and approved data sources.
- Build accessible, user-friendly applications with role-based security and optimized performance.
- Develop Power Automate cloud flows, business process flows, and desktop flows to automate business processes.
- Integrate solutions with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and authorized external APIs.
- Create and maintain Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, security roles, and scalable data models.
- Develop Power BI datasets, dashboards, reports, and dataflows, including optimized DAX and data models.
- Deploy and manage Power Platform solutions across Development, Test, and Production environments using ALM best practices.
- Maintain technical documentation, release notes, test cases, and support procedures.
- Provide Level II/III support, troubleshoot issues, manage enhancements, and conduct user training and knowledge transfer.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
- Must have 5+ years of related experience.
- Demonstrated expertise with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
- Proficiency with DAX, Power Fx, JSON, REST APIs, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
- Experience delivering enterprise-grade Power Platform solutions and supporting ALM practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with GitHub or Azure DevOps for source control and deployment pipelines.
- Experience integrating Power Platform with SharePoint, SQL, Dynamics 365, Teams, Outlook, and external APIs.
- Experience with enterprise data governance, security, retention, and audit requirements.
- Experience supporting Power Platform solutions in healthcare, federal government, or other complex enterprise environments.
Eligibility:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.
Compensation:
Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.
Salary Range: $135,000 - $150,000
