Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java backend development to join a dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing and developing enterprise applications, leading distributed teams, and building scalable, highly available solutions in AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Java-based backend applications.
• Lead development and provide technical guidance to distributed teams.
• Develop and maintain RESTful web services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and production issues.
• Build scalable, highly available, and reliable software solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technology evaluations.
• Perform integration testing and support user acceptance testing.
• Mentor junior developers and promote software development best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical features.
• Participate in DevOps activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Java application development.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience leading geographically distributed teams.
• Strong experience with Java 17.
• Hands-on backend development experience (Required).
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong AWS experience, including:• IAM
• Kinesis
• DynamoDB
• API Services
• SQS
• SNS
• KMS

• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with DevOps practices.
• Understanding of software architecture and designing highly available systems.
