Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst – Source Innovative Medicine (IM) to sit in Zug, Switzerland/Beerse, Belgium/Cork, Ireland/Titusville, US. In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst will provide finance support and guidance to the IM External Manufacturing and Global Procurement organizations to optimize spend, deliver financial targets, and drive the value creation agenda.

Key accountabilities of the role

o Provide finance support and guidance to the IM Partnerships & External Supply and Global Procurement teams based around the world to optimize spend, deliver financial targets and drive value creation agenda for the assigned Platform(s):

  • Strategically partner with the business through Standard Cost Setting, Long Range Financial Plan, Business Plan, and Business Plan update cycles
  • Support quarter close and management reporting
  • Support the commercialization efforts for third party manufacturing and Procurement activities
  • Influence and support the execution of IM Supply Chain & DS/DP Ext Mfg Strategy (i.e. network strategy, supplier optimization & segmentation, product strategies, make vs buy strategies, etc.) focusing on Innovation, Cost improvement, Speed & Agility and Reliability.

o Partner with business to shape novel partnership models to further enhance the internal/external network and generate additional value for J&J

o Benchmark other J&J and external companies and industries to identify improvements and best in class processes to support Contract Manufacturing and develop business initiatives.

  • Provide financial support on business cases for key initiatives, create and present financial models/scenarios to support data-based decisions

o Ensure proper, correct and on-time submissions to FP&A team, Ext.mf Leadership Teams & other groups

o Contract Management Support. Review new/renewed Supplier Agreements and document financial/risk paragraphs. Drive best practices and standardization. Actively contribute as a financial lead in contractual negotiations.

o Build and maintain strong relationships throughout JNJ (in and outside of finance) that results in dynamic interactive dialogue on a broad range of perspectives and information critical to the development of optimal approaches and solutions.

o Actively contribute towards the Signfi & Transcend journey within Source Finance; collaborate across sectors to gather input and influence design for the programs.

o The ability to partner with associates at all levels of the organization, including interacting with senior management, and operate in a highly matrixed structure is required

  • Must possess the ability to recommend, influence, implement process improvements, work independently, and handle multiple priorities

o Ability to frame and communicate issues & solutions & build consensus for implementing process improvements

  • Candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity and be self-motivated to take initiatives to drive business results

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance. MBA, CPA, CMA, or other financial certifications are preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of finance or related business experience is required
  • Manufacturing / Procurement experience is preferred
  • Advanced Excel Skills and the ability to make sound recommendations based upon analysis of large data sets is required
  • Experience with Anaplan preferred
  • Experience with SAP and Analytics/Business Intelligence tools (e.g. Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau etc.) is preferred

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$79’000.00 - $127’650.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year

Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days

Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
