This role will be specifically focussed on our E-Beam sites across the EMEA region, and can be based anywhere in mainland Europe.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Establish and drive Ebeam-X-rays engineering and maintenance strategy in line with STERIS targets and programs.
- Work as part of the EMEA leadership team across all Ebeam and X-rays locations in the region.
- Promote and facilitate plans for plants reliability improvement, availability maximization and downtime reduction.
- Responsible and/or accountable for Ebeam/X-rays engineering and maintenance budget, capital and operational expenditures, quality performances and Health and Safety.
- Manage Supplier Commercial relationships and Contracts
- Establish, lead and develop the team of Regional Radiation Engineering Managers; allocate resources and assign specific duties to achieve pre-determined technical and business objectives for the business in the EMEA region.
- Partner with equivalent roles across the US and APAC organization, share experience and best practises.

- Define and control Engineering budget, capital investments and expenses for field of competence (contracts, parts, services)
- Manage all human resources matters for Engineering team, including employee performance management and employee development
- Put in place suitable service contracts and spare parts procurement / storage policies
- Lead technology innovations
- Facilitate information and engineering know-how sharing across sites
- Provide leadership to ensure safe engineering practices by development of an effective safety culture, enforcement of safety practices in compliance to internal and external requirements and regulations.
- Provide leadership to ensure continuous improvement of maintenance processes and activities in line with STERIS world class safety objectives and the Quality management system.
- Ensure that the Engineering team operates within and towards the published STERIS Corporate vision and global objectives, including LEAN, 5S, Sustainability and One Team One Goal strategies.

Education Degree
Required Experience
- Valid driver’s licence
- Masters degree or 10/15 years experience
- Proven technical capability
- Proven experience in structured, multicultural, multinational companies
