Requirements

Requires strong experience as an IT Business Analyst with proficiency in SQL and data analysis. Candidates should have a solid understanding of banking payment systems and experience working in Agile environments.

Full description

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
  • Work closely with business users, technology teams, developers, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Use SQL for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and investigation of business requirements/issues.
  • Leverage AI tools to improve requirement analysis, documentation, data analysis, process optimization, and BA productivity.
  • Analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
  • Support UAT, functional testing, defect analysis, and production issue investigation.
  • Work with technical teams to understand APIs, data flows, integrations, and system dependencies.
  • Perform data validation and ensure solutions meet business and functional requirements.
  • Coordinate with multiple stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain clear documentation of requirements, processes, changes, and decisions.
  • Strong experience as an IT / Technical Business Analyst.
  • Proficiency in SQL – ability to write queries and perform data analysis/validation.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools for analysis, documentation, productivity, or business problem-solving.
  • Basic understanding of banking and financial services.
  • Knowledge of Debit/Credit transactions and Payments.
  • Good understanding of business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and UAT.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.

Good to Have• Exposure to Intraday Liquidity (IDL) or liquidity management.

  • Experience in banking payment systems.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT / ISO 20022 / payment messages.
  • Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data flows.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Postman, or similar BA/project tools.
